The active ingredient of Cytamins is an extract from animal organs and tissues, which consists of various peptides, amino acids, vitamins and minerals.
Each Cytamin product has its own indications for use and is intended to treat diseases of certain organs, e.g Cerebramin is used to treat neurological disorders, while Heptagen is used to liver dysfunctions.
Cytamins are considered dietary supplements, thus their efficacy is questionable and they are regulated as supplements, not as pharmaceutical drugs.
Dosage and administration
The dosage is 1-2 capsules taken 1-2 times a day with a meal, for 10-30 days. The treatment course can be repeated in 4-6 months.
According to the manufacturer, cytamins cannot cause any side effects.
